Register for Access Opera

Austin Opera is excited to provide the opportunity for students in Central Texas to experience live opera through our Access Opera program,
and to support teachers in their efforts to create this meaningful and memorable occasion for their students.

Registration will cost $5 per final dress rehearsal ticket (for students and chaperones.) While we have been fortunate to be able to offer this
program completely free-of-charge in the past, due to the elimination of grant support from the City of Austin and other institutions, we have now
instituted a modest fee to offset the program expenses for non-Title I schools. (Tickets will remain free for Title I schools). Registration includes
tickets to the Access Opera Final Dress Rehearsal at the Long Center, the TEKS aligned Interactive Resource Guide, and access to an
in-school docent presentation. Austin Opera remains committed to providing high quality materials to students across Central Texas, and this new
low-cost fee structure will aid us in continuing to provide these experiences and their accompanying materials for years to come.

No school or student will be turned away from the Access Opera program for inability to pay.
Please contact Director of Education & Community Impact, Andréa Ochoa, for more information.
